History, uses and notes:

References abound for uses for White Campion and others in the campion family, from snack bites to corns. White Campion was also historically used as a soap. 

White Campion can cross breed with Red Campion to produce a delicate pink flower. Butterflies and bees are attracted by White Campion and its bright petals which makes it a great addition to your wildflower meadow. 

It is a hardy and adaptable species commonly found on waste ground and roadside verges.

It is a great flower for pollinators and will help us all #bringbackthebees

Description:

White campion displays white flowers with five petals, each deeply notched and almost divided into two; its oval leaves and stems are hairy.
